Tumors in the orbital region have the potential of invading the anterior skull base. Resection to provide a cure when the anterior cranial base is involved consists of a wide resection of the bony orbits and closure of the defect that is created with grafts and flaps. The principles include closing the dural region and reconstructing the bony segments with bone grafts.
