Abstract
The clinical course of acute poisoning with carbon tetrachloride in 13 patients is presented. The treatment with corticosteroids has been beneficial, particularly in cases with considerable damage of the liver. The extracorporal dialysis allowed to survive the period of heavy uraemia.
