Today's health care providers are learning the technologies available on the Internet and Worldwide Web and becoming more proficient at accessing information. Pediatric nurses are at a point where they, too, need to be able to use the information technologies that are available to them. The Internet contains resources such as directories, on-line medical and nursing texts, graphics and databases that are invaluable to nurses and all health professionals.
