[Prague physicians abroad in the 17th century].

In the early 17th century the Medical Faculty of Prague University was not yet established. Future medical doctors had to study abroad. Because of religious orientation in our country they studied mainly at evangelical universities in Germany. The international relations of Prague students and doctors of medicine became more varied, when the Prague Medical Faculty was established and especially in the second half of the 17th century. At that time many students and doctors from Prague went to study most often to Italy.
