[Estimation of the fetal head-trunk proportion by ultrasound (author's transl)].

Using ultrasonic A- and B-scan equipment, cross-sections of the fetal head and abdomen were recorded in 219 pregnancies of the last trimester. Normal values of the body composition were established by several diameters, the circumferences and the areas. The diagnostic reliability of the different methods is demonstrated in a case report.
