[Study on organ antigens in the gastric mucosa, stomach cancer and its metastases].

Studies of qualitative characteristics of alpha- and beta-antigens in the mucous membrane of the cancer involved or not involved stomach, in gastric concerous tissue and metastases demonstrated the difference in the antigenic structure of normal gastric mucosa and tumor tissues by means of the reaction of precipitation in agar. In the process of tumor development a partial loss of alpha-antigen and the appearance of beta-antigen to be directly dependent on the pronouncement of tumor changes were noted.
