Testicular biopsy for infertility: a review of sixty-eight cases with a simplified histologic classification of lesions.

Sixty-eight testicular biopsies (29 bilateral and 39 unilateral) done for evaluation of oligospermia and azoospermia are reviewed. A simplified classification of the histologic lesions observed is proposed. A brief discussion of the etiology and pathogenesis of some of these lesions is included.
