Estimation of molecular weights of the glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PD) multiple forms was carried out by the method of extended electrophoresis (within 24 hrs) in polyacrylamide gel with linear gradient of concentration (from 3.5% to 30%). Proceeding from the variations in molecular weight, the multiple forms of G6PD, found in liver tissue and adrenal glands, might be apparently classified as two types, designated as alpha-G6PD and beta-G6PD. The possible reasons are discussed for the existence of two types of G6PD in the one organ.
采用在浓度呈线性梯度(从3.5%至30%)的聚丙烯酰胺凝胶中进行延长电泳(24小时内)的方法,对葡萄糖-6-磷酸脱氢酶(G6PD)多种形式的分子量进行了测定。根据分子量的差异,在肝脏组织和肾上腺中发现的G6PD多种形式显然可分为两类,分别命名为α-G6PD和β-G6PD。文中讨论了在一个器官中存在两种类型G6PD的可能原因。
