[Results of treatment for severely slipped capital femoral epiphysis by biplanar wedge osteotomy of the femoral neck].

The results of treatment for severely slipped capital femoral epiphysis by biplanar wedge osteotomy of the femoral neck in 13 cases are presented. They were compared to the results quoted by both advocates and opponents of this method. The authors conclude that this method renders beneficial results but they depend greatly on surgical technique and experience.
