The radiographic and operative technique of Southwick's tridimensional osteotomy is described and illustrated, including the authors' personal method of fixation by an AO blade plate. Seventeen cases of chronic slipped upper femoral epiphysis have been treated by this method with very satisfactory results at a maximum follow-up of four years.
