When sound housing advice leads to better health.

Health visitors using a traditional health visiting model while working in Tower Hamlets, east London, were unable to respond to the considerable health needs associated with housing problems, so they adapted and reframed the problems they faced. As a result they have developed a close working relationship with a team of housing solicitors who have provided housing training, and together they have set up a housing clinic which offers clients advice on health-related housing problems.
