Using ICN's Alpha Version of an ICNP, the EU-sponsored Telenurse project seeks consensus-building around an ICNP, an associated nursing minimum basic data set and structure for nursing data. It will demonstrate how the ICNP can serve both as a local useful clinical tool in electronic patient care records and at the same time function as the backbone of future national nursing databases.
