[The results of correcting aphakia by an artificial lens implant].

The author shows the efficacy of correction in aphakia by intraocular lenses in the absence of ocular biometry and using of viscoelastic substance on a group of 258 cases hospitalised and operated in the Department of Ophthalmology of the University of Medicine from Cluj-Napoca. The study includes also the immediate and late complications of intraocular lenses and causes for removal of intraocular lens.
