The authors report a case of penetration of an odontogenic keratocyst into the skull base. There is significant controversy about what is the optimum surgical treatment for the odontogenic keratocyst. Diagnosis, mode of growth and recurrence of keratocyst are still a great deal of interest. This paper reports the recent advances in the subject.
