Report on a rare cause of a pelvic mass. This resulted from an early stage of incarceration of one of the ovaries in a deep-edged fossa below the bifurcation of the common iliac artery and the ureter (fossa ovarica). The complaints of the patient had been intensified by a major of the uterine and ovarian veins on either sides.
