Author takes a review of the more than 30 year history of liver transplantation and of its more important miles. After the international consensus meetings (Washington in 1983 and Paris in 1993) the liver transplantation has become as a curative therapy in the progressive liver diseases intractable with other methods. Liver transplantation program in Hungary has been successfully introduced. Author underlines the role of multidisciplinary cooperation and the importance of support by health policy and society.
作者回顾了肝脏移植超过30年的历史及其更重要的里程碑。在国际共识会议（1983年华盛顿会议和1993年巴黎会议）之后，肝脏移植已成为治疗其他方法难以治愈的进行性肝脏疾病的一种疗法。匈牙利的肝脏移植项目已成功引入。作者强调了多学科合作的作用以及卫生政策和社会支持的重要性。
