[Biopsy of the pleura in pulmonology].

The results of pleural biopsy examination were compared for three different techniques: Coop's needle, forceps and brush biopsies. The two latter methods are proposed for improvement of morphological diagnosis in exudative pleurisy of unclear etiology. Most effective is pleural brush biopsy allowing morphological verification of pleural process in 78.4% of cases.
