Since 1991, a special and unforgettable summer camp experience for children and teenagers who have experienced a burn injury has been offered annually by the Illinois Fire Safety Alliance (IFSA). In the summer, all campers have the chance to be outside in an atmosphere of openness and excitement. Campers are free to show their scars and not be embarrassed or ashamed.
