To analyze a case of acute shortening and dorsal bending of the penis arising from a thrombosed superficial vein of the penis.
Patient history, physical examination and duplex US findings are detailed.
With a duplex US scan showing no venous flow in the dorsal vein proximal to the root of the penis and after penile fracture, paraphimosis and the presence of foreign bodies had been discarded, the diagnosis was easily made and the lesion completely healed in two weeks.
In evaluating penile deformities, thrombosis of the superficial dorsal vein of the penis must be considered.

双功超声扫描显示阴茎根部近端背静脉无血流，且排除阴茎骨折、包茎及异物存在后，诊断容易明确，病变在两周内完全愈合。
