[Epidemiology of bronchial asthma in children in the Arkhangelsk region].

Based on our own epidemiologic research, we considered the incidence of bronchial asthma, the leading allergic disease among children of Arkhangelsk region. Residence appeared to play an important role in epidemic process of bronchial asthma. The study proved the increasing occurrence of bronchial asthma and influence of the air pollution on the disease's epidemiology, described incidence of bronchial asthma among various age groups of the children. The results necessitated adjustment of maximal allowable levels of air pollution in Northern towns.
