[Is resection of colorectal liver metastases in patients over 70 years of age indicated?].

The outcome of patients aged over or under 70 treated for colorectal liver metastases is compared. Both groups have similar tumor stages and receive comparable treatment. There is no significant difference concerning morbidity, mortality and long term survival in these groups after liver resection.
