37 patients with BHPG (average age 76) underwent transurethral laser coagulation of the prostate 23 of these had acute retention of urine. In all the patients urination was restored by the 5-th day after the operation. Thus the laser coagulation should be considered a method of choice in BPH patents with grave recurring pathology including urgent cases.
37例良性前列腺增生症患者（平均年龄76岁）接受了经尿道前列腺激光凝固术，其中23例有急性尿潴留。所有患者在术后第5天恢复排尿。因此，对于患有严重复发性病变包括急症的良性前列腺增生症患者，激光凝固术应被视为一种首选方法。
