A patient with an early gall-bladder carcinoma with jaundice due to mucous obstructing the common bile duct is presented. This has not previously been reported in the literature and has management implications. Proceeding immediately to endoscopic stenting in these patients may result in the opportunity for potentially curative surgery being missed.
