Simultaneous prepubic urethrectomy with radical cystectomy for transitional cell carcinoma of the bladder.

The technique of total urethrectomy through prepubic approach is described. This approach does not require a second surgical team, perineal incision, and lithotomy position. It gives surgeons excellent control from the prepubic field and within the pelvis. This technique is highly recommended.
