Recently several trials of adjuvant surgery or so-called neo-adjuvant chemotherapy have been reported about lung cancer. The indication of this therapy contains not only small cell lung cancers but also non-small cell lung cancers in most recent report. However, the therapeutic outcome is not satisfactory especially in N2 cases, better local control and, even a few, long time survivors were reported with this therapy. In our own experience of 10 cases since 1981, same tendency was recognized. So several type of controlled studies are necessary for the evaluation of adjuvant surgery to lung cancer.
最近，已有多项关于肺癌辅助手术或所谓新辅助化疗的试验报道。在最近的报告中，这种治疗方法的适应症不仅包括小细胞肺癌，还包括非小细胞肺癌。然而，治疗效果并不令人满意，尤其是在N2期病例中，尽管有报道称这种治疗能实现更好的局部控制，甚至有少数患者长期存活。根据我们自1981年以来10例病例的经验，也发现了同样的趋势。因此，有必要进行几种类型的对照研究来评估肺癌的辅助手术。
