Collaborative study of the extraction of light filth from canned crabmeat.

Canned carbmeat is boiled with mineral oil in a Wildman trap flask. The trappings are transferred to a Corning percolator and cycled at least 3 times. Average recoveries from 7 collaborators were 82.7% for rodent hairs and 98.0% for flies. The proposed method has been adopted as official first action.
