The influence of intravenous administration of diazepam (Faustan) on focal e.e.g. changes was checked in 34 patients. Bioelectric functional disturbances may remain unchanged, may be provoked or abolished; apparently etiological aspects are not decisive. According to the authors' results, the value of this provocation method for the differentiation of space-occupying intracranial processes and cerebrovascular disturbances should be regarded with caution.
对34例患者检查了静脉注射地西泮（福斯旦）对局部脑电图变化的影响。生物电功能紊乱可能保持不变，可能被诱发或消除；显然病因方面并非决定性因素。根据作者的结果，对于这种用于区分颅内占位性病变和脑血管疾病的激发试验方法的价值应谨慎看待。
