OBJECTIVE
To consider the relation between functional experiential hallucinosis and brain injury induced by radiotherapy.
METHODS
Single case report.
RESULTS
A female patient presented with a four year history of functional experiential hallucinosis after two courses of radiotherapy for nasopharyngeal carcinoma. Brain MRI showed hyperintense changes over the left temporal lobe.
CONCLUSION
It is proposed that the hallucinosis was causally related to temporal lobe injury, a documented late complication of radiotherapy for nasopharyngeal carcinoma.
目的
探讨功能性体验性幻觉症与放射治疗所致脑损伤之间的关系。
方法
单病例报告。
结果
一名女性患者在接受两程鼻咽癌放射治疗后出现了四年的功能性体验性幻觉症病史。脑部磁共振成像显示左侧颞叶有高信号改变。
结论
提出该幻觉症与颞叶损伤存在因果关系，颞叶损伤是鼻咽癌放射治疗记录在案的晚期并发症。
