Study was performed in 64 fetuses aged 9-40 weeks. In most of investigated fetuses (42 on the right side and 40 on the left side) the uterine artery arose separately from the internal iliac artery. It was also found that this artery originated as a common trunk with the pudendal, gluteal, middle rectal, and umbilical arteries.
对64例9至40周龄的胎儿进行了研究。在大多数被研究的胎儿中（右侧42例，左侧40例），子宫动脉分别发自髂内动脉。还发现该动脉与阴部动脉、臀动脉、直肠中动脉和脐动脉共干起源。
