Pulmonary disease has tremendous impact on both men and women. Fortunately, we have the capacity to prevent a significant percentage of disease with appropriate education for physicians and patients. The majority of the article on pulmonary diseases in women will address smoking and its impact on women's health, as well as smoking cessation. Pulmonary diseases that effect women particularly will be addressed as well.
