AIM
The purpose of the investigation was to evaluate the presence of IL-1 beta, IL-2, IL-6, IL-8, TNF-alpha, IFN-gamma in aqueous humor of patients with cataract.
MATERIALS AND METHOD
Aqueous humor was taken from 29 patients during extracapsular cataract extraction. The presence of cytokines was evaluated using immunoenzymatic methods.
RESULTS
IL-2, IL-6, IL-8, TNF-alpha and IFN-gamma were found in all aqueous humor samples. There was no evidence for the presence of IL-1 beta.
CONCLUSION
Cytokines may play role in the inflammation process after extracapsular cataract extraction.
目的
本研究旨在评估白内障患者房水中白细胞介素-1β（IL-1β）、白细胞介素-2（IL-2）、白细胞介素-6（IL-6）、白细胞介素-8（IL-8）、肿瘤坏死因子-α（TNF-α）、干扰素-γ（IFN-γ）的存在情况。
材料与方法
在29例患者行白内障囊外摘除术期间采集房水。采用免疫酶法评估细胞因子的存在情况。
结果
在所有房水样本中均检测到IL-2、IL-6、IL-8、TNF-α和IFN-γ。未发现IL-1β存在的证据。
结论
细胞因子可能在白内障囊外摘除术后的炎症过程中起作用。
