[Brachial plexus paralysis due to leiomyosarcoma of the subclavian artery successfully treated by surgery].

The authors describe a rare case of surgical treatment of a paresis of the brachial plexus in a 63-year-old woman. The paresis improved significantly after extirpation of a tumour of the upper mediastinum which originated in the left subclavian artery and was classified as a leiomyosarcoma.
