The aim of this study was to demonstrate the advantages of rhombic excision and Limberg flap closure in the treatment of pilonidal sinus disease.
We treated 24 patients who had chronic pilonidal sinus disease with rhomboid excision and Limberg flap closure.
All patients were followed up for a period of 27 months. Mean hospital stay was 4.1 days, and mean time until return to work was 17.5 days. There was no surgical wound infection. Complication rate was 12.5 percent. During the follow-up period, no recurrence was found.
Because other treatment methods carry a significant failure rate, this technique is an effective alternative in the treatment of pilonidal sinus disease.
本研究的目的是证明菱形切除术和林贝格皮瓣闭合术在治疗藏毛窦疾病中的优势。
我们对24例慢性藏毛窦疾病患者采用菱形切除术和林贝格皮瓣闭合术进行治疗。
所有患者均随访27个月。平均住院时间为4.1天，平均恢复工作时间为17.5天。无手术伤口感染。并发症发生率为12.5%。随访期间未发现复发。
由于其他治疗方法失败率较高，该技术是治疗藏毛窦疾病的一种有效替代方法。
