Serum concentration of aminoterminal peptide of type III procollagen (PIIINP) were determined in 48 patients with myeloproliferative disorders (MPD). 27 with and 21 without marrow fibrosis. Serum concentration of PIIINP in MPD was significantly higher than that in control group, but not in secondary thrombocytosis. The highest serum level of PIIINP was found in the primary osteomielofibrosis. In myeloproliferative disorder a positive correlation between megakaryocyte count, marrow fibrosis and serum level of PIIINP was found. This indicates, that in MPD megakaryocytes stimulates fibroblasts to augment their fibrile formation function. Concentration of PIIINP in the serum seems to be a good, though not specific, marker of marrow fibrosis in myeloproliferative disorders.
对48例骨髓增殖性疾病(MPD)患者测定了血清III型前胶原氨基端肽(PIIINP)浓度。其中27例伴有骨髓纤维化,21例无骨髓纤维化。MPD患者血清PIIINP浓度显著高于对照组,但继发性血小板增多症患者并非如此。原发性骨纤患者血清PIIINP水平最高。在骨髓增殖性疾病中,发现巨核细胞计数、骨髓纤维化与血清PIIINP水平之间呈正相关。这表明,在MPD中巨核细胞刺激成纤维细胞增强其纤维形成功能。血清中PIIINP浓度似乎是骨髓增殖性疾病中骨髓纤维化的一个良好但非特异性的标志物。
