Norway has a high average life expectancy and, in general, a high standard of living. However, older people requiring nursing and care provision do not enjoy the same quality of life and living standards as the rest of the population. In this article, the author looks more closely at what the Norwegian Nurses' Association has done specifically to improve the care of elderly people, and what results have been achieved.
