The objective of our study was to analyze MR images of vascular leiomyoma of the extremity and to compare these images with histopathologic findings to determine if a correlation exists.
T2-weighted MR images of vascular leiomyoma of an extremity showed a mass with mixed areas that were both hyper- and isointense to skeletal muscle and also revealed a hypointense rim; these images correlate with histopathologic findings of smooth muscle, vessels, fibrous tissue, an intravascular thrombus, and a fibrous capsule.
我们研究的目的是分析肢体血管平滑肌瘤的磁共振成像（MR），并将这些图像与组织病理学结果进行比较，以确定是否存在相关性。
肢体血管平滑肌瘤的T2加权MR图像显示肿块有与骨骼肌呈等信号和高信号的混合区域，还显示有低信号边缘；这些图像与平滑肌、血管、纤维组织、血管内血栓和纤维包膜的组织病理学结果相关。
