In connection with two cases of congenital absence of the left pulmonary artery with dextro-rotation of the aorta, the authors recall the clinical and radiological signs of this rare abnormality, explaining it by the theory of failure in partitioning of the troncus arteriosus. They particularly insist on the normal pulmonary venous return.
