Abstract

Peculiarities of polytene chromosomes of populations of malarial mosquitoes Anopheles sacharovi from the Transcaucasus and Middle Asia were studied. It was established that karyotypes of specimens from the latter region differ from those from the formes in the inversions in chromosomes I and in the left arm of chromosome III. Since all the specimens examined proved to be homozygous towards the above inversions, the populations from the Transcaucasus and Middle Asia are reparated into chromosomal races.

研究了来自外高加索和中亚的疟疾蚊子萨氏按蚊种群的多线染色体特性。结果表明,来自后一地区的标本的核型在第一号染色体和第三号染色体左臂的倒位方面与来自其他形态的标本不同。由于所有检查的标本在上述倒位方面均为纯合子,因此来自外高加索和中亚的种群被划分为不同的染色体族。
