In 147 patients with severe craniocerebral injuries the functional state of the kidneys was examined. The incidence and peculiarities of renal function disorders were studied in such patients. A table is presented for the assessment of the degree of renal function disorders by the values of glomerular filtration and the level of nitrous products in blood. On the basis of the author's personal experience measures of prevention and treatment of renal failure in such cases are described.
