A cerebrospinal fluid flow artefact is described in the frontal horns of the lateral ventricles on MR images at 0.5 tesla, which was especially detected on inversion recovery (heavily T1-weighted), T2-weighted, and gradient-recalled echo (flow-sensitive) sequences. The anatomy of the choroid plexus and the fact that the frontal horns do not contain choroid plexuses are emphasized.
