The author first reviews the types of interaction between medications and their possible influence upon the chemical intermediaries of the allergic reaction, which leads to a study of these interactions in terms of their mode of action on the allergic reaction. Finally, attention is directed towards general problem posed by the relationship between biotransformation and sensitisation, with particular reference to allergic complications occurring in patients recieving several medications simultaneously.
