The amount of information on the Internet is growing by the nanosecond. It is no longer expeditious to "surf" site to site now that automated convenient-to-use search tools can find the information you are looking for swiftly. Unfortunately, no one tool covers the entire worldwide web (www), much less the entire Internet. The following describes the components and characteristics of popular Internet search tools.
