With the aid of a polygraphical study of day sleep in infants with cerebral palsy it was possible to demonstrate in many cases changes of qualitative characteristics of the stages of sleep with disorders of normal dynamics in the EEG, motor and vegetative signs. The authors detected a certain correlation between the degree of such changes and the severity of the clinical symptomatology, as well as a possibility of changes in expression of the pathology of sleep at different stages of the disease, sometimes with an increase of this pathology.
借助对脑瘫婴儿日间睡眠的多导记录研究，在许多病例中得以证实，睡眠阶段的定性特征发生了变化，脑电图、运动及自主神经体征方面的正常动态出现紊乱。作者们发现此类变化的程度与临床症状的严重程度之间存在一定关联，以及在疾病不同阶段睡眠病理学表现发生变化的可能性，有时这种病理学表现还会加重。
