[Liver transplantation in animal experiments].

Liver transplantation has extraordinarily complicated technical, biochemical, and pathophysiological aspect. The present study on experimental liver transplantation is a survey on essential parts of this vast problem. Particularly in the fields of biochemistry and immunology, our knowledges must be extended before an improvement of the results can be achieved. Results from experiments of the authors themselves agree with experiences, complications, and survivals after hepatic transplantation reported in literature.
