[Research on heterocyclic compounds. IV. Imidezopyrimidine acetic acids].

A group of ethyl imidazo (1,2-a) and imidazo (1,2-c)pyrimidin-2-acetates was prepared, starting respectively from 2-amino- and 4-aminopyrimidines, by reaction with ethyl 4-bromoacetoacetate. From these esters the corresponding acids were prepared and their antiinflammatory activity was evaluated.
