It is well-documented that the resources available to meet the healthcare needs of Americans are limited. Consequently, it is inevitable that limits will have to be set regarding how much can be spent. While such a proposal is obviously controversial, limits are already in place in many areas of healthcare. The problem is determining how to allocate healthcare dollars in order to get the most benefit.
