Graduates from the School of Health Administration at the University of New South Wales were surveyed. As well as gathering useful descriptive information, an assessment of job progressions showed a successful upwardly mobile group. Most graduates considered that knowledge areas and skills obtained during their course were useful for career progression and that benefits of the degree transcended professional accreditation. Views on curricula, types of courses and future directions of the School, while being substantially preempted by recent planning, were valuable and should serve to reinforce current initiatives and guide future directions.
