The aim of this study is to present our endoscopic DCR operation method without the use of silicone tubing and our results on the patients suffering from chronic epiphora with postsaccal stenosis.
Endoscopic dacryocystorhinostomy operations were performed to 21 sides of 18 patients who had chronic epiphora. No silicone tubing was used in any of the cases. In the postoperative healing period, the rhinostomy opening was maintained with frequent removal of nasal debris and using eyedrops. The patients were evaluated by fluoresceine test and endoscopic controls.
Symptomatic improvement was achieved in 19 out of 21 sides of the patients (90.5%) and the results were confirmed by the fluoresceine test under endoscopic control.
Our results of 21 sides of 18 cases underwent primary DCR without stents are as successful as those reported in the literature and the technique seems to be promising.
本研究旨在介绍我们不使用硅胶管的内镜下泪囊鼻腔造口术（DCR）手术方法以及我们对患有泪囊后狭窄的慢性泪溢患者的治疗结果。
对18例慢性泪溢患者的21侧眼睛进行了内镜下泪囊鼻腔造口术。所有病例均未使用硅胶管。在术后愈合期，通过频繁清理鼻腔分泌物和使用眼药水来保持鼻造口开放。通过荧光素试验和内镜检查对患者进行评估。
21侧眼睛中的19侧（90.5%）症状得到改善，并且在内镜检查下通过荧光素试验证实了结果。
我们对18例患者21侧眼睛进行的无支架原发性DCR手术结果与文献报道的一样成功，该技术似乎很有前景。
