To report the effect of intravitreal injection of tissue plasminogen activator and gas for the treatment of diabetic premacular hemorrhage.
Five eyes of five consecutive patients with fresh diabetic premacular hemorrhage and previous panretinal photocoagulation were treated with intravitreal injection of 50 microg of tissue plasminogen activator, and 0.3 ml of sulfur hexafluoride. After intravitreal injection, patients maintained a prone position for 3 days and were followed for an average of 7 months (range, 6 to 8 months).
All eyes had clearing of the premacular hemorrhage with improved visual acuity. Three eyes with no visible fibrovascular proliferation required 3 weeks to resorb the hemorrhage, and two eyes with active fibrovascular proliferation needed 2 months to resorb the intravitreal hemorrhage.
Intravitreal injection of tissue plasminogen activator and gas may be an effective way to treat fresh diabetic premacular hemorrhage.
报告玻璃体内注射组织型纤溶酶原激活剂和气体治疗糖尿病性黄斑前出血的效果。
对连续5例患有新鲜糖尿病性黄斑前出血且既往接受过全视网膜光凝治疗的患者的5只眼,玻璃体内注射50微克组织型纤溶酶原激活剂及0.3毫升六氟化硫。玻璃体内注射后,患者保持俯卧位3天,并平均随访7个月(范围6至8个月)。
所有患眼黄斑前出血均消退,视力改善。3只无可见纤维血管增生的患眼需要3周吸收出血,2只有活动性纤维血管增生的患眼需要2个月吸收玻璃体内出血。
玻璃体内注射组织型纤溶酶原激活剂和气体可能是治疗新鲜糖尿病性黄斑前出血的有效方法。
