Abstract

Major changes brought about by managed care have redefined the nursing profession. Current trends such as case management, downsizing, restructuring of the workforce, and changes in the patient profile have had numerous effects, particularly on job satisfaction among hospital-based nurses. Strategies to improve job satisfaction during this era of increased managed care penetration include enhanced communication mechanisms, support from hospital administration, implementation of care models that promote professional nursing practice, adequate staffing, and competitive salaries and benefits.

管理式医疗带来的重大变革重新定义了护理行业。诸如病例管理、人员精简、劳动力结构调整以及患者情况变化等当前趋势产生了诸多影响,尤其是对医院护士的工作满意度。在管理式医疗渗透加剧的这个时代,提高工作满意度的策略包括加强沟通机制、医院管理层的支持、实施促进专业护理实践的护理模式、充足的人员配备以及有竞争力的薪资和福利。
